We did an amazing tour of the Maddalena Archipelago in Sardinia Italy, and created this video that documents the whole tour. Our day begins in Baia Sardinia where we board the Valentina 2. Indeed, it will take us all around the Maddalena Archipelago in Sardinia Italy.

La Maddalena

Our first stop was the charming little town of La Maddalena in the main island of the archipelago. We walked around the charming little street of La Maddalena and we tasted some local specialties.

Spargi and Budelli Islands

After a nice little stroll in town, we boarded again for our next stop on our tour: the island of Spargi in the Maddalena archipelago. In less than half-hour of sailing, we reached the amazing “Spiaggia dell’Amore” the beach of love with its deep turquoise water. We had a nice swim there while our crew was setting lunch. After that, we sailed for our next stop the island of Budelli and the famous “Manto della Madonna” (The Virgin Mary cape). This amazing area of green and turquoise water is very popular and its name came from the color of the water. In fact, it resembles the blue color that painters in the renaissance used to paint the Holy Mary cape.

Caprera and “Tahiti” beach

Our final and most amazing stop on our tour of the Maddalena Archipelago was on the island of Caprera the famous Cala Coticcio, also known as Tahiti. This beach has the most transparent deep blue water I’ve ever seen. On this beach you can clearly see the bottom of the sea even in more than 20 meters of water. We did an amazing swim surrounded by tons of fish. It was an absolute blast.

This was probably the most amazing tour of the Maddalena Archipelago in Sardinia Italy we have ever done. Captain Enrico and his helper Alessandro were amazing. They showed us all the best spots in the archipelago and were there to make our tour a total delight. Well done!
